It all started with a recipe for Cinnamon Raisin Bread.
When Elizabeth Miles was 10 years old, she found a recipe for Cinnamon Raisin Bread in her grandfather’s cookbook, and decided to try to produce it on her own.
With that first recipe, Elizabeth fell in love with all things related to the culinary world, and developed a passion for producing high-quality baked goods that her friends and family enjoyed. The feel of the dough, the smell of the batter, and the smile and reaction of happiness that she received when people try her recipes is what drives Sweet Ladybug’s business today.
So why a ladybug?
Ladybugs are symbols of joy, happiness, and luck. When seen, they instill a sense of joy, and usually prompt a huge smile for many. Baked goods also bring joy, happiness, and comfort. At Sweet Ladybug Baked Goods, LLC, providing a wholesome and delicious sweet treat that will bring joy and happiness to customers is the top priority.
Flash forward a few years. In the middle of a cold and snowy March morning, shortly after giving birth to Elizabeth's third daughter, Abby, a ladybug appeared out of nowhere in the hospital room and landed on the baby. Ladybugs have been a constant symbol of joy for Abby, and the family, ever since.
