Lisa and Brian Schoenbeck are a team of husband and wife chocolatiers who make exquisite confections by hand. We believe in hard work, precision, fresh and natural ingredients, and that everyone should EAT MORE CHOCOLATE.
Our name is derived from the French word “Bon Bon” meaning “Good Good” in English. We are committed to creating thoughtful and delicious confections made entirely by hand in very small batches. Our hand shelled chocolates are made using the finest natural ingredients: premium chocolate by Valrhona and República Del Cacao, vanilla beans, Plugrá butter and the best local and in season ingredients we can source. We never take shortcuts in making the best candy we know how that is both aesthetically beautiful, balanced and delicious on the inside!
With a combined 40+ years experience in the pastry industry, Lisa and Brian draw from their tenures in hotels and restaurants to push the boundaries of chocolate making. Brian has been consistently recognized in his field, participating in and winning numerous pastry competitions. He was also selected to “try-out” for the White House Pastry Chef position. Lisa has had the opportunity to work under 3 star Michelin chef Guy Martin, opening a hotel in Boston. She also took an intensive 3-day class with Albert Adria, Pastry Chef of El Bulli (chosen 5x as the best restaurant in the world).
Let us help you create a lasting memory on your special day. Our customized bon bons, for any occasion, will leave your guests remembering the party favors long after the chocolates are gone!
